Dr. Lance D. Ashworth

Dr. Lance Ashworth is a fully licensed Florida physician.  He graduated from Midwestern University's Medical School, completing post-graduate training at Florida Hospital Memorial Division.  He is a diplomate of both the D.O. and M.D. National Board of Medical Examiners, having passed all three steps of both of these intensive exams.  Prior to medical school, he graduated with a degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin.  He has been involved in weight loss, health, and fitness for over 20 years.  Dr. Ashworth has practiced medical weight loss and aesthetics in Ormond Beach since 2002; and was the first physician to practice 100% medical weight loss in Ormond and Daytona Beach.  Dr. Ashworth was also the first physician in the area to start performing Liposculpting.  He has performed hundreds of procedures since training in South Florida with amazing results. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons. This association is dedicated to the continuing education of it's physician members in the most current and cutting edge breakthroughs in the art of cosmetic surgery.  Since starting to practice medicine in this community just under a decade ago there has been many physicians attempting to duplicate what he does, from weight loss to cosmetic surgery.  Remember there is only one way, the "Ashworth Weigh"!

Dr. Ashworth was interviewed and featured in an article in the supplement to the Daytona Beach News Journal in May 2010: VOLUSIA: THE LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE OF VOLUSIA COUNTY.  The name of the article was Image: The skinny on body contouring.
